WICKLOW BUSINESSES INVITED TO ATTEND "GREEN FOR BUSINESS" LUNCH AND LEARN EVENT

Gain expert insights on reducing business costs and improving your sustainability.

Wicklow County Council, through the Local Enterprise Office (LEO), invites local businesses to participate in the upcoming ‘Green for Business: Lunch and Learn’ event focused on reducing overhead costs and becoming more sustainability in Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort on 18/09/2025 at 12.30-2:00 PM.

This session will be led by green consultant Stuart Nelson of Jigsaw Better Business, along with guest speaker Dan Cady from VDA Coffee in Blessington.

Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council, Melanie Corrigan, commented on the importance of the workshop: “Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy and we encourage everyone to attend this valuable Lunch and Learn event and understand how to reduce overhead costs in your business."

Emer O’Gorman, Chief Executive of Wicklow County Council, emphasised the benefits for attendees: "Businesses who attend this event will learn how to reduce their overheads and understand how they can avail of energy efficiency supports, so I would encourage all Wicklow businesses to attend.”

Vibeke Delahunt, Head of Enterprise at the Local Enterprise Office Wicklow, added, “The Local Enterprise Office is here to support small businesses up to 50 employees, offering assistance to companies to understand how they can reduce overhead costs, becoming more competitive and increase sustainability.”

The session, which includes a light lunch and opportunities for networking with peers. It is especially relevant for Wicklow businesses looking to strengthen their sustainability efforts while reducing overhead costs.

This event is free of charge, but advance registration is required due to limited capacity.
