Speaker Profile: Michelle Davitt and Jill Holitz

Jill Holtz & Michelle Davitt are the two founders of Mykidstime and ParentsandBrands.

Founded in 2007 as a local listings website in Galway, Mykidstime.com has evolved into a globally trusted online brand for parents. Over 6M parents connect every month with MyKidsTime channels, including Google verified 5.3 million page views in 2020, and a very large, but more importantly, constantly engaged following on social media. MyKidsTime is evaluated annually by Userneeds showing that online users consider MyKidsTime as one of the most trusted online brands.

Building on the huge success of MyKidsTime, Jill and Michelle set up a new division last year called ParentsandBrands to help organisations to get insights from parents about their brands to help them connect and build trust. Their expertise in mining actionable insights for result-driven communications, 14 years of getting to know these parents and how to communicate with them…and the fact that they are also parents ourselves means they understand this segment intimately. They also are passionate about the fact that parents (particularly mums!) deserve to be marketed to in a better way. Not every mum is the same and just because they have kids doesn't mean they stop being interested in non-kid stuff!

When they’re not working on brand insights and marketing projects, Jill can be found doing New York Times crosswords, playing Words with Friends and reading good books. Michelle can be found rowing on the River Corrib, making chocolate refrigerator cake (and eating too much of it) and organising parties for friends and neighbours.
